The film opens with a radio drama. On the day of a family reunion, single mother Sonia tries to make the perfect Kare-Kare with her daughter Leslie. But as soon as the cliche story of the radio drama is intertwined with the reality of the kitchen, the tension between mother and daughter increases. Unresolved problems resurface. And deviation fills the conversation. Can the two of them put their differences aside to finish the Kare-Kare in time for the reunion?
