Gabriel is a young doctor who meets Alejandro, a young millionaire. He starts a steamy romance with him in beautiful Playa del Carmen, but everything falls apart when Gabriel is framed for a crime he didn't commit. Forced to leave the city, he loses Alejandro's love and must abandon his mother.

Six years later, he returns after the death of his mother and learns that he was unjustly framed. He embarks on the search for those who deceived him, and their reasons to do so.
