Courageous, provocative and untimely even in death, Nancy Cárdenas broke through the closet doors of a community that was invisible in 70's Mexico, opening the way in the fight for LGBT rights. The theater was his main weapon to talk about lesbianism, homosexuality and the appearance of HIV. However, despite his great achievements, his name has been forgotten.
